Cooking Steps

Sauté diced onion, carrot, and celery in butter until softened, about 8 minutes.

Add diced beef, tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef stock. Bring to a boil.

Add shredded cabbage and reduce heat. Simmer for 45 minutes until beef is tender.

Season with salt, pepper, and a dash of Worcestershire sauce. Serve with crusty bread.
