Make filling: mix minced pork and shrimp with soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce, and cornstarch.

Place a wonton wrapper in your palm. Add a spoonful of filling in the centre.

Gather the edges up around the filling, leaving the top open. Tap the bottom flat.

Top each siu mai with a pea or carrot piece. Steam over high heat for 8-10 minutes.
